Refund & Cancellation Policy
Refund and billing contact: support@tutorpulse.app
This policy applies to paid Solo Teacher and Whole School subscriptions purchased directly through TutorPulse and Stripe Checkout.
1. Initial 14-day refund period
You may request cancellation and a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial Solo Teacher or Whole School purchase. The period begins on the purchase date shown on your Stripe receipt.
When a refund is approved, the subscription will be cancelled and paid access may end immediately. Refunds are returned to the original payment method. TutorPulse will initiate an eligible refund without undue delay; your bank or card provider may require additional processing time before the credit appears.
2. Solo Teacher monthly subscriptions
The purchasing Solo Teacher may cancel at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal available in Profile & Account → Subscription & Billing. Cancellation stops the next monthly renewal. Unless a refund is approved, access continues until the end of the current paid month.
After the initial 14-day period, monthly payments are normally non-refundable and TutorPulse does not provide automatic refunds or credits for a partly used billing month.
3. Whole School annual subscriptions
The purchasing School Admin may cancel renewal at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation stops the next annual renewal. Unless a refund is approved, the school and its managed staff accounts continue to have paid access until the end of the current annual term.
After the initial 14-day period, the annual payment is normally non-refundable, including where the service has not been used for all of the annual term. Teacher accounts created by a School Admin do not own the subscription and cannot cancel it or request a billing refund on the school’s behalf.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@tutorpulse.app from the purchasing email address. Include the account name, school name where applicable, purchase date and the Stripe receipt or invoice number. Do not send card details.
We may ask for information reasonably needed to locate the payment and confirm that the requester controls the purchasing account.
5. Service problems and statutory rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. If TutorPulse is faulty, materially misdescribed, unavailable for an unreasonable period, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill, contact us so we can investigate and provide an appropriate remedy.
Refunds outside the routine terms above may also be provided where required by law or expressly agreed by TutorPulse in exceptional circumstances.
6. Account access and data
Cancelling renewal does not immediately delete account data. Access normally continues to the paid-through date. Data is then retained, returned or deleted in accordance with the Terms, Privacy Policy, applicable school instructions and legal obligations.
